Through this website we intend to preserve and introduce the art of traditional Sundanese culture heritage by promoting typical Sundanese traditional clothing such as Iket Sunda and Pangsi.

We know that Indonesia is a country which has very rich regional culture such as traditional ceremonies, the art of music, paintings, and traditional clothing with special characteristic regions respectively. One of the oldest areas in Indonesia which has a diverse culture is Sunda. Sunda was once the name of the region in the western part of Java (West Java) but now Sunda is the name of tribe and ethnicity in Indonesia.

Iket and pangsi is one kind of typical Sundanese traditional clothes that has historians and meaning of philosophy. Iket (Sundanese headband) is a rectangular cloth folded and tied around the head with special rules. If the bond and folds incorrectly, it can not be termed iket but only a headband or headdress.
